I really do believe that when your heart is aligned with God, that He is able to bless you with anything you desire. But at the same time, I think you also have to believe and trust that God is able to provide for you. For some, that might mean the possibility of giving up a shopping for something, for others, it means giving up a lifestyle of playing it safe.
But I don’t think it requires a mass amount of faith to trust that God can do what He says He can do, because as scripture itself says:
“…Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
–Matthew 17:20
If God says it can happen. It can happen
Thanks for an exhortation in faith! You know people like to be believed, when we know that we are telling the truth and the hearer refuses to believe it can leave us dejected, or upset. Yet here is the God of the Universe, who has proved Himself in his Word and in our lives countless times and yet we mere mortals ask Him to prove Himself and His Word ‘just one more time’. God is so gracious in light of our faith failings its a miracle of mercy in and of itself. Thankd you once again for challenging us to grow our faith.
